We’re looking for a lead copywriter with a lively mind and a simple writing style who knows how to write interestingly both concise notes and large articles involving analytics and deep immersion into the topic.

The focus of the articles can be completely different: you will need to write about projects and technologies, about the company, and about its people—that is, about everything that concerns the life of Mad Devs.

The main task of the specialist is to convey Mad Devs’ expertise in the form of engaging text. To turn projects’ dry numbers and terms into interesting business and technical cases. The use of vivid imagery, intellectual humor, allegories, and other magical techniques is encouraged.

☑️ What will need to do:

  • Writing of articles from receiving the technical specifications to final approval of the author (expert) or SEO specialist
  • Writing of texts for lendings according to the design - from the interview/technical specification to the author's (expert's) approvement of lendings
  • Writing of e-books from receiving TOR or interview with expert to final approvement by the author (expert) or SEO specialist
  • Writing case studies and portfolios on projects
  • Proofreading and ability to compose/work with tone of voice
  • Proofreading, editing, and recommending improvements to another copywriter's content

☑️ Our expectations:

  • Are experienced writer, editor, and proofreader with attention to detail
  • You have higher education in marketing, PR and communications, journalism, linguistics or philology
  • 5 or more years of experience as a copywriter/marketer in B2B. B2C experience will be a plus
  • You have subject matter expertise (Technology and Development), and experience working with/for technology companies
  • Understand tone of voice and the ability to pitch content with the right context
  • Got the ability to present cases or expert opinions organically
  • Know how to express complex ideas in interesting and understandable content
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written). A certificate like IELTS or TOEFL would be a plus
  • Understand digital marketing and landing page optimization (SEO) best practices.
  • Have a portfolio with successful marketing campaigns that demonstrate versatility in content creation and the ability to work with a variety of tone-of-voice and communication strategies
  • Proficiency with a wide range of text tools, including AI-tooling
  • Skill in crafting prompts for AI tools
  • Strong research and fact-checking skills to ensure accuracy and originality
  • Website content management: understanding the strategy for lendings, articles, ibooks and the ability to link them together
  • Know how to work with metrics and how to improve them
