VP of Engineering

We are looking for a VP of Engineering to build and scale an engineering organization as we scale our autonomous Voice AI platform. You will own the engineering organization end-to-end: building the leadership layer, scaling teams and processes, driving predictable delivery, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring our technology and organization can support rapid business growth.You’ll work closely with the founders and Product leadership to shape the engineering strategy behind one of the most advanced platforms for autonomous AI Employees.

What will need to do:

Grow the team from 45 → 100+ engineers
Hire, coach and develop the engineering management layer
Structure the organization and architect the platform for hypergrowth
Establish a predictable SDLC
Close partnership with Product Management to ensure that the most impactful business outcomes are delivered in priority order
Quality standards and SLAs
Scaling to ensure that production capacity is never a bottleneck for growth
FinOps and vendor management
Career ladders and hiring process refinement.

Requirements:

10+ years of engineering management experience
Experience leading teams of 30+
Experience with high-scale software development and operations
Experience leading engineering teams working on customer-facing SaaS
Strong knowledge of agentic systems (even without production experience)
Strong software architecture skills
English and Russian B2+: excellent communication skills in both spoken and written
Location: any, except Russia and Belarus
Startup experience.

It will be a plus:

Previously scaled an engineering org from ~40 → 150 people as VP Eng / CTO
Have experience with AI/ML/Voice/real-time systems (preferred)
Have experience building high-scale software in a public cloud
Enjoy “zero → one” organizational building and are comfortable with rapid decisionmaking
Lead people with clarity and empathy
Can manage conflict without ego
