Team Lead

We are looking for an Engineering Team Lead for a new Internal Tools full-stack team who will focus on building tools to increase the efficiency of our business teams and customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a full-stack team
  • Drive business growth by leading high-impact projects end-to-end
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and growth, ensuring team members excel in supervision and mentorship, are working on projects where interests, skills and business impact intersect
  • Lead cross-functional projects, working closely with Product and Design Team
  • Complete code reviews, balance moving fast and building sustainably
  • Strategically contribute technically - write important design docs, tackle particularly intricate components/features or services, etc.
  • Participate in technical talks and discussions across teams and engineers, as well as opportunities to improve engineering productivity and processes

Must have skills

  •  Strong communicator, for both technical and non-technical topics
  • 6+ years of software development experience with advanced technical in-depth knowledge of the chosen language
  • 2+ years of either formal management, mentoring junior and intermediate software developers, participating in recruiting and interviewing processes
  • 4+ years with front-end (modern JS frameworks) and back-end web development
  • Strong management skills, have been a technical lead for shipping a major feature/product/internal tool
  • Experience with production services, working in agile environments, and working with product managers and designers
  • Strong knowledge of modern web technologies and microservices
  • English language B2 level and above
  • Have experience in full-stack, interested in managing a full stack team
  • Confidence in time management and division: between technical leadership, team management, people management, and individual technical contributions
